pcgamerpro - And right when we thought it was over, Neverwinter reappeared out of the dark skies shrouded by the likes of heavy bits; Skyrim, Mists of Pandaria, ME3 and many more. It seemed as if one of the RPG series has finally ended with a complete black out but for some it’s never the end.
Neverwinter, following its glorious past, is coming back in the form of full blown MMORPG. We were able to scrap off some latest screens for you guys and frankly it looks like the game will be returning in its full glory.
"Cryptic Studios and Gearbox Publishing are today very happy and excited to announce that "Neverwinter: Menzoberranzan" (Neverwinter’s 25th module) is now available for PC (via Steam), Xbox (via the Microsoft, and Playstation via digital stores (as announced at Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons Direct 2023 showcase)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
It's for that online game, correct? I always wanted to see the drows home from Drizzt's books, I've read those years ago, but I never could fully imagine it from text alone. Looks a bit bright compared to what I remember how it was described, but I'm guessing that's for gameplay reasons.
Neil writes: "Are you ready to hunt the most epic of dragons? Neverwinter's latest module will have you doing just that."
Big news for fans here. Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios are excited to announce that Dragonslayer, the 23rd module for Neverwinter, will launch on PC (Arc Games, Epic Games Store and Steam), Xbox and PlayStation on June 14.
