Rising Star Games has today launched Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2 exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Offering a casual match-3 gameplay experience, Cradle of Egypt 2 is another welcome addition to the Jewel Master franchise.
oprainfall's Guy Rainey writes:
"Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2 3D is a match-three puzzle game for the 3DS. It’s the latest port of a series that started on the DS (it is itself a port of the DS game, Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2). Is it any good? Well, let’s take a look."
Here's the situation: there's absolutely nothing wrong with Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2 3D. It doesn't do anything significant to change the formula, and it doesn't add anything particularly interesting to the table, but there's no arguing how incredibly addicting it is.
The thing with most puzzle games these days is that more often than not, that you tend to get a case of Deja Vu. Jewel Master: Cradle Of Egypt 2 3D for the Nintendo 3DS is that kind of game, and that in itself is not entirely such a bad thing. The game is your standard match three puzzle game, where you slide and swap tiles on the game-board making vertical or horizontal rows of three or more.
