In case you decided to pass it up, Geekenstein contributor Shane Peltzer constructed a list of the top 7 reasons why you should take the time to give Enslaved: Odyssey to the West a chance.
It's actually a really good game I beat it a couple months ago. Well worth it.
It's a great game; I platinumed it.
The game is a lot better than people give it credit for....on the same token, so was Heavenly Sword. The extra Piggy content is worth the download too for Enslaved. Great games by Ninja Theory...too bad there are no sequels in the works for both of these titles. Will keep these in my collection...true gems.
ive always wanted to get it but usually end up with other games, i will get this one day
Im glad I bought it despite the reputation it got online. Really good game. Nice story with interesting characters and a beautiful environment. Great soundtrack too. Gameplay was simple but it still fit well within the game IMO and didn't hinder the experience. Sadly there won't be a sequel but it was nice adventure that's worth playing.
It was a good game. Kinda seems to be no middle ground though where it should be. Either people say it sucks or its godly, and its neither (which in todays world means reviewers said it sucked sadly) If it was running off the heavenly sword engine it would have been better. Less glitchy and overall better visuals. The unreal engine really held it back.
I could be wrong, but didn't Akira Toriyama have something to do with this game? I haven't played it yet, or even the demo for that matter...I actually forgot about it for a while. It's dirt cheap now (under 10 bucks) so I'll probably pick it up and throw it in the backlog of games pile I have building up. Definitely looks worthy of a try.
