NowGamer: Ada Wong will get a co-op partner for her campaign and No Hope difficulty will be added to Resident Evil 6 for free, via a future title update.
(Capcom, PS3, Resident Evil 6, Xbox 360)
It takes extra time to code it, but when you have to work 80 hours a week to meet a tight deadline like most videogame devs do, you really can't always debug all your code to make sure it works perfectly, and run all the testing in time, so you do all that post release and release a patch to get that functionality in (which is why some of the code was already on the disc in the first place, it just wasn't finished).
Effectively, this is how a lot of day 1 DLC is done, because it takes 3 months to manufacture a game, during that 3 month period if you need to you can continue testing and coding and releasing day 1 patch so the game isn't broken, or if you just want to release a little bit of something extra like an extra hard difficulty.
"Ada Wong's campaign will also be made available for all players from the start, rather than having to complete Leon, Chris and Jake's campaigns first."
^this part doesn't really make sense. i can see why they'd unlock it right away: if everyone has it unlocked then the new online co-op for this campaign is more accessible for everyone. BUT, no one should really play this one first, even though it is Ada (unless they don't care about being spoiled for the other 3 campaigns, though it is obvious). they should just unlock her campaign after beating one of the others if they want it to be available to everyone while not spoiling the story.
Sh*t game, not even free "dlc" can make this better. Honestly, this isn't dlc. It should be in a patch or something, you can't call a difficulty level dlc.
difficulty is not a problem so who cares about this dlc! I beat it on professional and the only time i died was coming out of a damn cut scene or due to the absolute crap camera angle!! u would not believe how may time im shooting a zombie with the shotgun they jump at me im about to shoot them in the air then the game goes into a cut scene then when u come out the cut scene ur dead LOL WTF!! and how about in leons campaign when he is swimming from the shark and ur not even moving ur just flailing in the water HAHA
WHEN is it coming out? I'm not gonna play the Ada story until this patch comes out. It's stupid that the whole game is co-op but when u get to Ada, it stops being co-op. So I play the whole game with my GF in split-screen just to end up playing solo? What a dumb decision that was...
... And yet wasn't this exact thing already confirmed as free and unlockable in RE6 already? Ya know, the other RE6 article you commented on that claimed RE6 had DLC on disc when everything they listed as DLC could be unlocked through RE6 itself?
... Or are you just here to troll about "Crapcom" every two seconds and a game it seems you haven't even played nor touched? I guess sitting on the outside allows you to have an inside opinion though.
I WANT them to release an update for people to be able to play all campains solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FUC% co-op i want the good and great solo campain back!Thats why ADA campain was my personal better campain.
It's free because they wanted it to be free from the start. If they really would make something free just because people found it hidden on the disc then SFxTK's DLC would all be free.
Trust me it is, it's also just a bit more difficult due to not having someone save all the time. I wish they gave you a SINGLE PLAYER only option for all campaigns
No marketing or package design company would miss out a chance of putting includes free DLC all over the packaging, they simply got caught out and chugging out some damage control...
People complained about on Disk DLC and now when they find out that it's to be unlocked in a patch, they complain....
Now I am all for companies listening to the gamers but this is one of the cases where Capcom shouldn't. It's obvious everyone is just here to complain about the game and capcom, no matter what they do, they can't win.
i just want to say that anyone who complains about co op is a moron, because it seems like the only ones who complain about it, knew it had co op but still bought it. if you dont like the co op then go play the older resident evil games. dont get on here and complain about it because you knew it had co op but you bought it anyway.
Just proved how spoiled stupid these fans are. Bitch that there's paid dlc days after game release. Now people bitchin and finding ways to still bash them for giving free dlc... If I was capcom and had to listen to all these whiny bitches, id start screwing them over to.
