Alec Meer from "rockpapershotgun.com&quo t; gives a insightful personal perspective of what he feels is missing from those who think that "Dishonored" is too short, uneventful, linear game with not much to offer , but this is far from the truth if only we explore deeper into this epic beautiful adventure.
It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.
There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.
Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.
Dishonored's engaging lore, creative levels, and timeless gameplay are well worth revisiting for fans of the immersive sim and stealth genre.
Daily Video Game writes: "Xbox Store has just kicked off Arkane Studios publisher sale, offering up to 80% off on some of the best games from Arkane Studios, including Deathloop, Dishonored, and Prey for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One right now!"
I agree with everything this guy says. It's not a game to go all guns blazing in to, and you will miss a lot if you just play it like that. Like he says, if you want an fps that lets you shoot everyone in sight, there are tons of games out there for that, this is not really one of those games. Although you can do that, and I'm planning on a playthrough where I just shoot everyone I see. But you will get most of the fun out of it through stealth and experimentation.
