Dishonored and why first impressions matter

They say that first impressions matter and when it comes to video games, that is always the case with me. I have been known to stop playing a game 30 minutes in because it annoyed or bored me, never to touch it again. Fortunately, Dishonored is not such a game. I had to tear myself away from playing it just to write this little piece about my first impressions of the game.

First off, this is not a full review of Dishonored. I tend to be the sort of gamer that has to discover every nook and cranny of a game while I’m playing it. That means that it usually takes me some time to complete it. But that is a good thing because when I do return to give you my full review, I will be able to tell you about every side mission, every character and every mission that Dishonored offers. I like to look at a game as a whole component and not just a single storyline.

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
