Review: Jade Empire | MoarPowah.com

Jade Empire, a Bioware game from the early 2000s, proves that great atmosphere and background is not enough to save a game if the mechanics are poor and the plot falls flat. (Jade Empire, PC, Xbox) 3/5

One of my favorite games. See why I can buy game based on reviews? I have no idea what this guy is talking about. I played and finisd this game twice, many years ago. I am sure if I go back and play it now, it would not feel as inovative as it did then. But there still has been nothing made like it since. Oh well.

Crap like this is why I don't trust any reviews anymore. Reviews use to be more than a worthless opinion, not anymore.

Yep great game. The reviewer must be a total noodlehead.

One of my favorite games from last generation. How about an HD remake!

That would be awesome.

You don't need a HD remake, the original on the Xbox was in HD. That was one of the best parts of the original Xbox, games like Jade Empire and Ninja Gaiden were full HD.

Great game, the only issue I have with it is at the end of the game when you have to fight wave after wave of enemies, each wave consists of like 4 of 5 enemies, so I always laugh when they are like "Get ready for another wave!".

It was at 480p on the original Xbox, a console that didn't have an HDMI port. I would like to see something at a higher resolution with cleaner graphics. Component cables are component cables, I suppose you are one of those people that think cost matters, since you did spend 50 bucks on Monster HDMI cables. I think it is more likely that we would get an HD remake than a sequel, considering the situation within BioWare at the moment.

It was still HD and the component cables work really, really well. I'd much rather get a true sequel as opposed to a rehash version, like I said, I still have the Collectors Edition for the original Xbox.

Heck, the original Xbox was HD, while the Wii from this generation wasn't. Truly ahead of its time.

Well, I was referring to a console HD remake. And yes I know how much better games look on a nice PC, I watch too many Youtube Battlefield 3 PC videos not to notice.

Game is one of my favorites of all time. Just an amazing experience from Bioware when they were at their best. The story is great. That twist was crazy and i didnt see it coming, really blew my mind.
