IGN The Walking Dead: The Game -- Episode 4: Around Every Corner Review

IGN - The Walking Dead: The Game -- Episode 4: Around Every Corner does what a good pre-finale episode should do: it makes the wait for Episode 5 unbearable by setting up some amazing plot points. However outside of that -- the final few minutes and your choices therein -- Around Every Corner just keeps the narrative moving and fails to be all that memorable.

This is probably the score I would have given the third.
So far for me the second has easily been the best.

Wow, that's much lower than I would have given it. Favourite episode since the 2nd for me. Decisions made earlier seem to be finally coming around into more significant consequences, and there is a lot that is set up for Episode 5. They still managed to tell a good story, there were some very tough decisions to be made (like in Episode 2 were you are rationing the food), and they seem to be getting more technical with our past choices, so hopefully everything pays off into a player-unique finale.

SPOILER WARNING. This series contains Telltale’s The Walking Dead spoilers that span across the entire first season. Watch at your own peril!

This episode, Justis and McBosspants try their best to fight against the growing linearity of the series. Surprisingly, their poor-decision-making Lee is starting to merge with their own good-guy-Lee playthrough as they fight against the boredom of point-and-click adventures, the lack of choices in the later parts of the game, and the exhaustion of recording two episodes in a row.
