The Nerd Cabinet's Marshall Burrows gives his views on his first taste of Gaige and Deathtrap
Gaige is an amazing character to play within the level 11 experience I have had after playing and beating the game through once on my Maya character before-hand (level 35). Her deathtrap is such a useful tool and something that just obliterates anything that is alive close to you (wondering how it'll hold up later on, though). Anarchy is somewhat hard to maintain when the X button (I use a game-pad) is used to open containers and pretty much is the heavy interaction button along with reload. It sucks losing stacks when you don't mean to :P. I can see that if I used the keyboard and mouse combo it wouldn't be so hard since I'm pretty sure "R" is set up only for re-loading and other buttons are bound elsewhere, but...oh well :P Along with the damage upgrade and the accuracy downgrade that comes with Anarchy, the skill is on a double-edged sword (of course that being the point) and I just start to let Deathtrap slaughter everything or try to get into melee range at a certain point. I think Gaige may be my new favorite character, I just wish they could do more as they have done with Gaige to the other classes :)...heck I don't know, I just like the pro/con deviation I guess, and being able to have an AI minion :D At least they all have something different about them, which over time I'll be playing them all, but for the moment my main character is Gaige then Maya :)
The anarchy perk is pretty cool, but the aiming sucks but a weapon that explodes when you reload helps a lot.
