XCOM: Enemy Unknown Demo Out Now On Xbox Live reports: "XCOM: Enemy Unknown is bloody brilliant, but if you don't want to take my word for it in our 9/10 review, why not try it out for yourself? A demo is now available on Xbox Live if you're a Gold subscriber, giving you the chance to sample its rock-hard action, strategic choice and controller-friendly interface.

As far as I know, a similar demo is slated to hit [the European] PSN tomorrow."

Yeah this has been on my Radar for a long time, I know it ****s on XCOM fans but whatever, a good game is a good game

You're thinking of XCOM (2K Marin FPS Reboot), this game is a remake of the original X-COM with classic strategy style gameplay.

I assume this is the same linear, tutorial demo they relased on PC? It doesn't really show off the actual "game" too well - always the problem with tutorial levels...

Downloading now.

Game looks good. It kinda reminds me of the game Full Spectrum Warrior.

Gonna have to give this demo a go!

Don't see too many RTS games released these days. Looks interesting, but the game looks hard.

Ducky1894d ago (Edited 1894d ago )

It's not an RTS.

Turn-based strategy mosacra.

ChunkyLover531894d ago

That is what I meant. My bad.

game is epic cool, on pc at least, just finished the first hour and a half and am loving it.

if you have intrest in these types of tactical games, its a great way to get your feet wet, it is nowhere near the complexity of a game like shogun 2 or Crusader Kings II, but it is FAR more complex that 99% of console titles and would be a nice addition to any gamers library!
