She seemed pretty cool with the whole affair and took it with a sense of humour whilst not underpinning the serious issue of gender attitudes. She was spot on and I enjoyed the article and look forward to the game. My girlfriend has particular trouble since she doesn't have a very quick pc and I've noticed quite a bit of trouble with framerate affecting her accuracy. This could really be helpful for her.

But on another note - just chill out. I wish people would stop riding the feminist train with game devs. They're trying a truck load harder than hollywood ever has. Yeah sure there's a few classic assholes but you don't hear people saying shit like "I won't buy Kubrick's The Shining because I find the real life and narrative based suffering of the female lead indicative of a misogynistic urge to see women in pain" but a games programmer says something not PR friendly - as though he were meant to say it in a circle of people who knew him well enough to understand the context of his language, almost as to suggest that it's fucking insane that a games developer might have some defects in understanding social situations - and people go absolutely mad and start crying. It's a good game with great female characters, many of whom are less sexualized than most current female video gaming idols (Ellie comes to mind) and this new DLC will give you a cool new female character to play. This is leagues ahead of DNF so can we just be happy that they're trying?

This is where the humor in borderlands gets a little obnoxious . Ok cool someone made an off color comment about females and gaming let it slide, the guys a doosh whatever, dont keep bringing it up and then make it a skill tree in the game. A gamer is a gamer, I fail to see what reproduction organs have to do with it.
