Gaming Irresponsibly: Borderlands 2 Review

The original Borderlands will forever be known as a hallmark in video game history. Sure, it was far from perfect but it brought about one of the best loot systems and combined it with exciting combat. The result was something no other game could provide. Nothing has topped it since then in those categories so with the release of Borderlands 2 came a lot of expectations that Gearbox, developers behind the Borderlands franchise, must meet in order to please their ever expanding fanbase. Meeting those expectations is one thing, exceeding them is what you hope for, though. Gearbox managed to only meet those expectations, but is that really a bad thing? (Borderlands 2, Xbox 360) 8.3/10
