PSBlog: Dishonored: Unleash Supernatural Powers Tomorrow on Blu-ray, PSN

Posted by Matt Grandstaff // Senior Community Manager, Bethesda Softworks -

In one day, we will release Dishonored, our new first-person action game developed by the talented team at Arkane Studios. Dishonored puts you in the role of Corvo Attano, bodyguard of the Empress of Dunwall. A pretty good gig… until you’re falsely accused of killing her, kidnapping her daughter, and subsequently imprisoned and tortured by the sinister Lord Regent. Despite this, you remain the best hope for saving Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is on the verge of dystopia. (Dishonored, PS3)

Just bought this on STEAM due to the immense reception is has received.
I really hope my experience lines up with the videos or even better. Speaking of which, it seems there seems to have almost no issue on the PS3.

Is there anything in any of these videos (ie button prompts) that verifies that footage is from the PS3 version?

It looks like a console version to me. I've seen the PC version in action and there is a lack of many shadows and sharpness to textures here, as well as some jaggie, especially when turning quickly.

Apologies if I offended anyone, but it is what it is.

This may shed a lil' more light on your question.

I'm just curious to see actual PS3 footage in action. I'm probably going to buy for PC, personally.
