Eurogamer Expo Interview: Warface

Crytek, the developers behind the hardware intensive Crysis games, have joined the free-to-play model with their newest game, to be released around the same time as Crysis 3 (but only for PC at the moment). Warface looks to be a perfectly strong FPS game, featuring all the usual trappings of current offerings: deathmatches, double XP events and a multitude of cleverly designed levels and realistic weapons. The thing that makes the game stand out at the moment though, is that the game will cost you exactly nothing. That’s right, it will be totally free-to play.

Watch the interview with Peter Holzapfel from Crytek, as Tim Bowers from Zero1Gaming asks him about the free-to-play model, how that will work if the game were to come to consoles, and what makes Warface stand out from the other shooters on the market at the moment.
