NowGamer: Black Ops 2's customisable Pick 10 loadout system has over 500,000 combinations - Treyarch reveals how it is balancing every possibility.
David Vonderhaar, one of the creators of the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, has founded BulletFarm with the financial support of NetEase.
Oh great another well known ex dev starting a studio with AAA budget, wonder how this'll turn out especially that this is another cod dev.
Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play will be arriving sometime in the middle of Season 1. Treyarch is once again handling development of it.
I'll bite.
I don't min/max or alter controller schemes anymore because the default options suit me fine aside from aiming sensitivity, which was freakishly low on default.
But the matchmaking system still does that dissemble-reassemble which I hate and knew that my following games after my first overall score would increase In difficulty, i.e. drop shotters (many more examples)
You've got this ranked play but you have this spm scale that throws you against the sweatwall of hell (2 good games>1 bad game)
Swiftly uninstalled and I save 110+gb
Just 24 hours following the Modern Warfare 3 reveal, former Treyarch Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar has announced he’s stepping away from both the Call of Duty studio and Activision.
probably like every other call of duty....they don't balance it what so ever.
Call of duty is beyond balancing. There will always be overpowered guns in all the games and stupid combinations. Just have to look at the competitive "esports" scene to see just how much stuff gets banned because of the balance.
For something like this, it will obviously be very difficult to balance because if people can pick and choose what they want to use or not to use, then it is up to them to know what they are opting out for.
If they complain about something (if it isn't something broken) then it's their fault and they are the ones to blame for using something they either can't use for the way it is set up or for using less stuff against people who may have their own defining set-ups with more gear.
As long as things aren't out of place and one thing isn't overkill compared to everything else it should all work out.
