Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Review | DarkStation

DarkStation: "Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is not a bad fighting game, but I would rather play almost any other fighting game that came out this year before it. I didn’t find the fun that I was looking for, and considering that this is a $60 retail title, I find it hard to recommend over games like Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Persona 4: Arena, or even the older Tekken 6."

I could tell the reviewer had only a basic understanding of the game (especially movement) when they said " Like most 3D fighters, TTT2 make little use of stick movements, limiting almost all of them to holding a direction."

All the advanced movement techniques (which are a quintessential part of the game at intermediate to high levels) require intricate stick movement.

In any case, fair review I guess, though I find it hard to see how he can prefer Tekken 6 over this, considering this game has everything Tekken 6 had (with a much better netcode) and more.
