GTA 5: Fake Gameplay Video Provides More Than 3,000 Comments On YouTube

PC Games writes: "Now it has a relatively new, fake gameplay video of GTA 5 done on YouTube, with more than 3.000 comments. Although each may be clear that these are not real scenes from GTA 5, the number of clicks to the video go steadily upward." Check out more about that story after the break!

why the disagrees?

it IS both prerendered and raytraced.

i was just mentioning that to me those facts are very obvious.

the use of very accurate reflections tells me tha it is "raytraced"

and the Global indirect illumination being used is as of yet only possible in rendering suites, which lets me know that it is prerendered.

the fact that i use this software on a regular basis tells me why this is very obvious to me.

i dont get "ze probleme"

It won't look this good, you can tell from the side mirrors and the general clarity of the car reflection that ray/pathtracing is being used. Even a PC equipped with a GTX 680 would struggle to get 30 FPS at 720 with that quality of tracing/motion blur/HDR.

If you get familiar with 3D animation, you'll instantly notice this is pre-rendered. There's no way lighting like this can be real-time, not even on the best PC available today

This is not a fake its a alpha test of the GTA V guys I remember hearing about this back in late 2011 that somebody leaked out some pre-alpha test videos of the game before Rockstars even announced GTA 5 trailer.

So many video views. The control of the helicopter looks the same as GTA to be fair. The way it sways forward as if the controller joystick is being nudged. Either way, a very good animation if it is one.

It probably is fake, but I wouldn't put it passed developers to blatantly lie and say it's not real footage, just to cover their asses.
