"With the Wii U marking the potential dawn of a new era of home consoles, it seems the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be seeing their eventual swan song in the coming months. The PS3 in particular seems to be touting a very strong line-up for, what could be, it's final year as Sony's leading console. 2012 has been a strong year for PS3 exclusives but, with many of Sony's best and brightest franchises on hiatus from a 2011 launch, 2013 may be the best year yet. From The Last of Us to The Last Guardian (hopefully), Sony has a ton of exclusive games that PlayStation 3 owners can keep their eye on. Here are ten awesome PS3 exclusives to look forward to in 2013. Please note that this list consist of confirmed as well as games we hope to see next year."
Beyond Two Souls and The last Guardian for me, I shall probably rent The Last Of Us, or wait for it to come down in price, its not a day 1 for me, looks awesome though
I would hope FF-Versus is is out late 2013
I'm really hoping that the Xbox 360 gets a couple decent exclusives next year too, since aside from Gears of War Judgement, the lineup looks barren. Forza 5 would be nice since Horizon looks absolutely rubbish, but I suspect that Microsoft has already dropped the 360 and gone full swing into their next console :(
Agreed. Both games will no doubt have amazing campaigns. I'm very curious about how The Last of Us' MP will play out though. But God of War? OMFG. I've never been this excited about MP before. LMAO

If that doesn't scream EPIC in your face than I don't know what will.
I personally think PS All Stars would be pretty awesome with that sort of fighting mechanic imo.
"but I suspect that Microsoft has already dropped the 360 and gone full swing into their next console"
Agreed, shame really. Given how Microsoft's focus has shifted towards Kinect however. Especially, considering the fact of it's success. I'm pretty certain that many, if not the majority of Microsoft's next gen launch games will indeed be Kinect based.
I'm really hoping Sony releases GT6, Infamous 3, and Killzone 4 (if it's not on PS3) for it's launch though. But I expect most of their lineup to be new IP's.
1. Ni No Kuni
2. God of War: Ascension
3. The Last of Us
4. The Last Guardian
5. Beyond: Two Souls
6. Uncharted 4
7. The Witch and the Hundred Knights
8. Tales of Xillia
9. Until Dawn
10. Agent
Some of these games are unlikely to come out in 2013 but Ni No Kuni, The Last Of Us and Beyond: Two Souls are my top picks.
But no Puppeteer? For shame.
They also forgot Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time.
-_-
Sly was amazing on PS2 and I really can't wait for Sly 4. :D
EDIT: Oh yea, and they also forgot Yakuza 5. -_-
y u no put all top 10 on 1 page ?
ot
good list
overall 2013 will be a good ass year for gamers forreal. So many games im looking forward to
Agreed. Sly 4, Yakuza 5 and Puppeteer are all buys for me.
Thats like saying I am looking forward to Killzone 4, MGS 5, GT6, AGENT in 2013.
I'm not saying their team isn't big enough to work on multiple projects, but two big budget games like that in the same year? Don't think so.
So many awesome games still coming out for PS3, its impressive how many are new IP's too considering the next GEN consoles are not too far in the future.
One I am really looking forward to is the new IP from **Media molecule**, perhaps a PS3 surprise? I can only imagine the creativity and style pouring out of every pore of that game...I bet (hope I am right) then when the PS4 is unveiled we will see MM's new IP rear it's beautiful and original head...

Other than Uncharted 4, on almost every page I found myself saying "hey! I remember you! You were on on the top 10 PS3 exclusibes to look forward to in 2012! And you my friend - you're from 2011! Oh, and I see a familiar 2010 face here! Oh, and Agent!!! My dear friend! I'm still waiting for you to call since somewhere around E3 2008! Do you know you've been made every year since that year a top PS3 exclusive?"
2013 is still a couple of months away. What were/are the top 10 exclusive in 2012? What is there to look forward to this holiday season?
" Founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin in 1984 as an independent developer, the studio was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001."
there you have it
I really hope Last Guardian and Vs13 come out next year but that may be a stretch for both of those =[
easily
THE BEST
The Last Of Us is definitely one I'll be getting, I think I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition of GOWA as well.
7 of those titles have solid release dates.
Let them disagree. It does no harm to me or the validity of my statement, and it probably makes the person/s in question feel better about themselves.
Everybody wins!
Uncharted 4 hasn't even been announced and shouldn't be on the list. I'd replace it with Sly Cooper, Yakuza 5 (for NA hopefully) and/or the Puppeteer.
def getting the last of us. aside from the first blu ray i've watched since i got my ps3, i haven't turned it on in almost a year. guess i better start updating it now so it's ready in time.
plus this!

So glad to not be a MS fan..
What sony needs is a killer Rpg & and exclusive true survival horror game.
right, cuz there's a rule that says if you're a fan of one, you can't be a fan of the other. pretty immature.
Otherwise i will start the year with the beautiful Ni No Kuni.
- ni no kuni
- gow ascension
- beyond: two souls
- the last of us
- tales of xillia
- tales of xillia 2 (maybe not 2013, but hopefully namco localize this asap)
- kamipara / in english title: the god and fate revolution paradox (from disgaea team)
- the witch and the hundred knights (already confirm by nisa for next year)
- jojo's bizarre adventure: all star battle (made by cyberconnect2)
- yakuza 5 (hopefully sega localize this)
- yakuza hd collection
- kingdom hearts hd collcetion 1.5 remix
- blazblue: chrono phantasma (so far arcsystem only announced the ps3 ver)
- the last guardian
- ff versus (lol, if next year se still not release this game than it's vaporware)
- dragon's crown
And my list end's there...for temporary. So i pray to God that he give super strength for my wallet and all ps3 gamers around the world ^^
Besides that i am looking forward to Dead Space 3. The only franchise doing a proper horror game that is engaging and isnt outdated. I beat the first dead space at least 5 times for my platinum.
Last of Us looks like it has potential but can never touch what ND did with the Uncharted series. Hopefully i am wrong though. I would love for that game to be as good as any of the uncharted games in terms of scale, characters, and setting.
stoped reading right there....good luck with the game if u think its still survival horror....cause after demos and gameplays from e3 and other expos its pretty clear that they r going the way capcom went with the res franchise.
sooo...i am a bit behind when it comes to gaming since my son was born,but-without reading the article-i am looking forward to TLOU,Beyond 2S and GOW:A. TLG should probably really go as a ps4 launch title(if it ever will come out-_-)
I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, and although you could argue it's been done to death, Naughty Dog have taken a rather different approach with nature reclaiming the world, and providing emotional narrative not only through cutscene, but through the gritty and tense nature of the gameplay too. Man I cannot emphasise how excited that progressive AI makes me feel. What makes me even more excited than that, is the fact we've only seen a minute fraction of the game, its mechanics, its world and its characters. And that alone has been some really, really great stuff.
#2 Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Absolutely love Studio Ghibli productions and although I haven't played much of LEVEL-5's work, Ni no Kuni looks wonderful, and (from what I've heard and seen) plays wonderfully too.
#3 Beyond: Two Souls
I thought Heavy Rain was a wonderfully bleak adventure game with strong emotional storytelling and if Beyond is anything as good I will be happy. Quantic Dream deserve my attention and what I've seen of Beyond so far has me interested.
#4 God of War Ascension
The multiplayer alone has me on this one. A breath of fresh air in the sea of multiplayer shooters in my opinion. They seem to have really translated the single player feel into multiplayer. It's obvious that although the campaign will be "just another GOW game", it will be bloody (no pun intended) amazing. They've already added a few new mechanics and changes that seem to be keeping it at least a little fresh.
#5 Puppeteer
It looks like a downloadable title at first glance, kind of like a different looking LittleBigPlanet. But that art style is just awesome and the gameplay very intriguing. I've heard it's as long as 15 hours http://www.thesixthaxis.com... which is commendable too.
Really exciting lineup for 2013. The Last of Us is easily my most anticipated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for The Last Guardian and Versus XIII, but not holding my breath.
2. God of War: Ascension (Looking forward to it.)
3. The Last of Us (#1 most anticipated game of 2013.)
4. The Last Guardian (Hope it comes out next year but I doubt it.)
5. Beyond: Two Souls (Looking forward to it.)
6. Uncharted 4 (Naughty Dog should save Uncharted 4 for the PS4.)
7. The Witch and the Hundred Knights (Looks interesting. Hope it's a PSN title.)
8. Tales of Xillia (Not a big Tales fan.)
9. Until Dawn (Finally a game that makes the PS Move worth using as of lately.)
10. Agent (Looking forward to it. Hope Rockstar makes it soon. I still think this game will end up being a PS4 title.)

10. The Last of us
Only PS3 exclusive I am looking forward to.
1. The Last of Us
2. God of War: Ascension
3. Beyond: Two Souls
and for the 360, Gears of War Judgement.
Ni no kuni & tales of xillia getting localized is awesome & exclusives too.. I wish they would localize the ps3 version of tales of vesperia.. It has so much more content than the 360 version.. its incomplete & doesnt even belong on there...
