"With the Wii U marking the potential dawn of a new era of home consoles, it seems the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be seeing their eventual swan song in the coming months. The PS3 in particular seems to be touting a very strong line-up for, what could be, it's final year as Sony's leading console. 2012 has been a strong year for PS3 exclusives but, with many of Sony's best and brightest franchises on hiatus from a 2011 launch, 2013 may be the best year yet. Beyond Two Souls and The last Guardian for me, I shall probably rent The Last Of Us, or wait for it to come down in price, its not a day 1 for me, looks awesome though

Personally I'm most looking forward to The Last of Us and God of War Ascension, particularly because both games will have multiplayer to accompany what will no doubt be stellar singleplayer campaigns. I have a feeling that Sony might save The Last Guardian as a PS4 launch game personally, but that's just wild speculation on my part.

I'm really hoping that the Xbox 360 gets a couple decent exclusives next year too, since aside from Gears of War Judgement, the lineup looks barren. Forza 5 would be nice since Horizon looks absolutely rubbish, but I suspect that Microsoft has already dropped the 360 and gone full swing into their next console :(

Agreed. Both games will no doubt have amazing campaigns. I'm very curious about how The Last of Us' MP will play out though. But God of War? OMFG. I've never been this excited about MP before. LMAO

Agreed, shame really. Given how Microsoft's focus has shifted towards Kinect however. Especially, considering the fact of it's success. I'm pretty certain that many, if not the majority of Microsoft's next gen launch games will indeed be Kinect based.

I'm really hoping Sony releases GT6, Infamous 3, and Killzone 4 (if it's not on PS3) for it's launch though. But I expect most of their lineup to be new IP's.

I sure would love to see **Uncharted 4** on the PS4.... If on the PS3, then still Day 1...**The Last of us** is near the top of my list, and **The Last guardian** (no matter what system PS3 or PS4) are DAY 1's for me...

One I am really looking forward to is the new IP from **Media molecule**, perhaps a PS3 surprise? I can only imagine the creativity and style pouring out of every pore of that game...I bet (hope I am right) then when the PS4 is unveiled we will see MM's new IP rear it's beautiful and original head...

Hey, Uncharted 4 is the never to be announced wild card, so this idiotic list which has you scrolling through 10 pages for hits won't look too familiar. It's required in every top exclusives list so that people will know how much sense it doesn't make.

Other than Uncharted 4, on almost every page I found myself saying "hey! I remember you! You were on on the top 10 PS3 exclusibes to look forward to in 2012! And you my friend - you're from 2011! Oh, and I see a familiar 2010 face here! Oh, and Agent!!! My dear friend! I'm still waiting for you to call since somewhere around E3 2008! No, Uncharted 4 hasn't even been announced and I would much prefer the team that did Uncharted 2 to make 4 because of 3 being a let down. However they are working on Last of Us currently. As for Agent, that's vaporware.

I really hope Last Guardian and Vs13 come out next year but that may be a stretch for both of those =[

That is a nice list, but a lot of those games we've heard no announcements on, or any information for years. They could have switched development to the next gen console or might have been cancelled.

The Last Of Us is definitely one I'll be getting, I think I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition of GOWA as well.

Saying "a lot" is a bit misleading. Development Hell games like Last Guardian and Agent are only two games out of ten. Games like Until Dawn and Xilia were featured on the PS Blog just this past week. NiNoKuni is already out in Japan.

Uncharted 4 hasn't even been announced and shouldn't be on the list. I'd replace it with Sly Cooper, Yakuza 5 (for NA hopefully) and/or the Puppeteer.

God of war is the only one i care about. Words cannot describe how much i love that franchise. Kratos is the best video game character of all time imo. I hope that Ascension is as epic as 3 and not a slightely condensed version like uncharted 3 was to 2.

Besides that i am looking forward to Dead Space 3. The only franchise doing a proper horror game that is engaging and isnt outdated. I beat the first dead space at least 5 times for my platinum.

Last of Us looks like it has potential but can never touch what ND did with the Uncharted series. Hopefully i am wrong though. I would love for that game to be as good as any of the uncharted games in terms of scale, characters, and setting.

#1 The Last of Us

I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, and although you could argue it's been done to death, Naughty Dog have taken a rather different approach with nature reclaiming the world, and providing emotional narrative not only through cutscene, but through the gritty and tense nature of the gameplay too. Man I cannot emphasise how excited that progressive AI makes me feel. What makes me even more excited than that, is the fact we've only seen a minute fraction of the game, its mechanics, its world and its characters. And that alone has been some really, really great stuff.

#2 Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Absolutely love Studio Ghibli productions and although I haven't played much of LEVEL-5's work, Ni no Kuni looks wonderful, and (from what I've heard and seen) plays wonderfully too.

#3 Beyond: Two Souls

I thought Heavy Rain was a wonderfully bleak adventure game with strong emotional storytelling and if Beyond is anything as good I will be happy. Quantic Dream deserve my attention and what I've seen of Beyond so far has me interested.

#4 God of War Ascension

The multiplayer alone has me on this one. A breath of fresh air in the sea of multiplayer shooters in my opinion. They seem to have really translated the single player feel into multiplayer. It's obvious that although the campaign will be "just another GOW game", it will be bloody (no pun intended) amazing. They've already added a few new mechanics and changes that seem to be keeping it at least a little fresh.

#5 Puppeteer

It looks like a downloadable title at first glance, kind of like a different looking LittleBigPlanet. But that art style is just awesome and the gameplay very intriguing. I've heard it's as long as 15 hours http://www.thesixthaxis.com... which is commendable too.

Really exciting lineup for 2013. The Last of Us is easily my most anticipated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for The Last Guardian and Versus XIII, but not holding my breath.

This is a good list but i dont think games that arent announced (UC4) should be considered something to look forward to. I honestly think naughty dog should continue last of us series rather than go back to uncharted again.. thats me tho.. Im definatly buying most of whats up there..

Ni no kuni & tales of xillia getting localized is awesome & exclusives too.. I wish they would localize the ps3 version of tales of vesperia.. It has so much more content than the 360 version.. its incomplete & doesnt even belong on there...
