Guerrilla Games comment on possible 3D support and demo for Killzone HD

Victor Zuylen of Guerrilla Games comments on the possibilities of 3D support and a playable demo for the remastered video game for the Playstation 3, Killzone HD. (Killzone, Killzone Trilogy, PS3)

ok so it's NO and NO !

I don't know how right he is about the 3D that Killzone hasn't been developed with 3D in mind because God of War: Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta haven't been developed with 3D in mind either but they have one of the best 3D effects i have seen so far when i played the second HD collection.

I think Sony should have given Killzone HD job to another company so Guerrilla could have focused more on what they are up to next on Vita and maybe PS3/PS4

Totally, they could've patched the 3D in. I personally want to see more 3D in 2D sidescrollers. Anyone that has played Hardboiled Chicken in stereo 3D I'm sure will agree.

Gotta make Killzone 2 3D before you start working on 1 in the first place.

i was more hoping for a Move support on KZ2 so i can stop playing the KZ3 multiplayer that sucks really compared to the previous one.
I love to play KZ with move it's so well implemented.

So looking forward to seeing what GG have managed to achieve with what was a good looking game to begin with.
Good story, reload animations and the choice of four playable characters make this an unmissable Killzone.

I'd love it to have 3D, and Killzone 2 aswell please. It's a great optional feature.

Honestly there is no excuse as to why every game can't have a demo. There are a lot of games that get passed on because people can't try them out before hand.
BitbyDeath  +   1062d ago
Agreed, and then there are devs who put out bad demos.
Why?

Evolution Studios for example always seem to make demos of their Alpha/Beta versions as the final game always looks and plays a ton better.

I can no longer play games in Stereoscopic 3D on my television due to a lightning strike in my backyard that fried all the HDMI ports on all the televisions in my house. I use component cables now.
My TV can still upscale 2D images to 3D. With that said I've been playing Sleeping Dogs upscaled to 3D and it looks like it was made for 3D. I also just bought Sony's new Pulse headset and the experience is completely immersive.

Killzone is boss! Just finished kz1 on my 60g ps3! very visceral game! I really could see that gg were trying to squeeze a lot out of the ps2!
