Review: NiGHTS into Dreams HD | The Gaming Vault

The Gaming Vault: "In 1996, SEGA released the game NiGHTS into Dreams for the ill-fated SEGA Saturn system. It was easily one of the best games of the system, a new standard for analog control in games, and the promising beginning of a huge new franchise. Fast forward 16 years and all we’ve heard from NiGHTS has been a Japan only PS2 remake in 2008 and a mediocre Wii exclusive sequel in 2007.

Maybe 2012 will be the year of the resurgence of NiGHTS with an all new HD release of the original game. Or at least we can all hope." (NiGHTS Into Dreams, PS3, Xbox 360) 7/10

Madness on that score!

Sorry, bit of a NiGHTs fanboy. =P

Gaming Vault's reviews handle 5 as average so 7 isn't a bad score. It's hard to see a 7 when so many other sites treat 7 as average instead of 5.
I still enjoyed it! Hope you enjoy the review!

Ah, it was such a nice trip down memory lane. I just ended Claris' story line and the music is as magical as I remember it. Nights is definitely arcade style, in which you can redo a level rather quickly if you aren't getting the grade needed to pass it. Good thing the learning curve is short. I would've have loved playing it on the Vita.
