Only one map is available to play on in the beta, Sarajevo Stadium. A dark map with little lighting, mostly from explosions and air attacks from above. The map has control points set around the map. Teams will have to defend or attack these objectives. There are 5 round, each round switches your teams objective, either defend or attack, and if you do so successfully, you team gets the win. It is basically a best of 5.
Well hopefully, otherwise you are right, looks horrible lol
Why would I play a small death match arena game when I can be part of an actual war across a continent?
Sorry but the arena game is a tired formula and dying out fast.
I've been playing the beta, and the only thing it need is another game mod and one or two more maps. The final game will look better.
1 I will like the game, but if the online dies like the last one I wasted yet another 60 dollars. So are people buying it?
2 Most people are buying it JUST to get the BF4 beta....
3 EA has an act for putting their games dirt cheap on black friday. MOH was there when it came out, BF3 was there when it came out, I'm assuming the trend will continue.
4 I find an "exclusive beta" rather stupid, all 3 parties are paying full price to play your game, not just one.
So I want to play it, but not sure if I should risk 60 dollars.... :/
it will be on sale black friday only danger is EA is known for having limited release copies with codes. Look at BF3 only the first set had karkland codes
edit: Last one with dice behind it was fun it just had to many sniper maps. Went 22-1 never got that 600 point super bomb.
All I know was I was like 400 after 22 kills. They didnt measure it right. If you only got 10 points and missed every bomb you would need 60 kills lol
radar gives 30 dont remember the rest of the defense ones. thats the only thing cod does do right only!! bad thing about cod you gotta have KS set lol.
I was so wanting this but now im worried. Probably still get it just later bf4 beta not my concern i'll buy bf4 anyway
I'm going to GameFly it first, then make my choice. But I'm not going to make my decision based on a BETA, even if it just weeks away from release date.
I'd also like to note that if a title is reliant on multiplayer for sales, then why do publishers/developers insist of testing their multiplayer components last minute? Follow in the footsteps of games such as Gears of War 3, Beta testing 6 months prior to launch, allowing them to incorporate adjustments PRIOR TO LAUNCH, rather than spending 6 months post launch to get the game to the standard it should have launched.
