The Gaming Vault Hands-On: God of War Ascension (PS3)

The Gaming Vault writes:

"He’s back you know. Yeah, you know who I mean; Kratos. The angry, chrome-domed chap with the ash of his kin adorning his flesh and those natty tattoos has returned with a brand new game for the PS3, one which is yet another prequel to the current series, but nevertheless appears to be an extremely solid, if not terribly revolutionary entry for the franchise.

At the Eurogamer Expo this year I got to take a look at both the single and multi-player sides of the game and while the former is little changed yet drenched in familiar bombast, its really the latter that makes this the freshest entry in the series for a long time." (God of War: Ascension, PS3)

Big Fan here. Ever since I beat the first one. I love every single game in the series. Probably could have changed 'direction' in some of the games but every game seems to make sense to the story. Can't wait to pick up this game day 1 and even join my godly side to defeat my foes online.

I completely agree with you Steven, I just couldn't get over how solid the multiplayer side of things was.

It really *made* the game, rather than relying on the typically strong campaign mode to do it.

Very much looking forward to it!
