Call of Duty has seen iteration after iteration since the release of the rather excellent of Modern Warfare, but never with any new innovation for gamers. With Black Ops II, Treyarch, Activision and many media outlets have dubbed it as the best Call of Duty yet, but we decided to see if the multiplayer portion of the title stacks up to these claims.
Everyone is mad at MW3......That game has almost literally nothing to do with the people making Black ops 2.
How don't you people comprehend this?
Last year when MW3 was out....it wasn't treyarch....they were busy making Black Ops 2.
FACTS > what you guys think
People like the gameplay and that's why it doesn't matter if it's not a monumental upgrade... as long as it plays well. When the online play starts to suffer as bad as the last two games though, well that's two strikes. I really think Blops 2 will be a make or break deal for a lot of COD veterans.
That's what they fail to deliver on year in year out. The problem isn't that it's the same game every year, it's that they don't fix the things that are wrong with it.
"If it sells don't fix it"
Lots of folks will be giving them some serious competition next gen and many hardcore players are already getting the itch to move on due to the past two experiences.
The only complaint I see about Black ops is really the hit detection and the Famas...
Overall it has some of the best balances I've seen in a COD game since COD4.
Anything abusive got patched by treyarch asap.
But, everything else was vastly sub-par after playing MW2. Hit detection (which is kind of important in online FPS no?), The graphics took a major dive and all of the guns felt similar, not to mention on any given day one of them would just flat out not work, effectively shooting rubber bullets. Also, the over blown lag comp system started with Black Ops.
I'd like to see a cod where winning plays the major role in your rank. That would make it feel so fresh and competitive. Of course the franchise needs new game modes too, preferably ones more unpredictable.
You can only customize a weapon so much or add new killstreaks before it becomes tiring
You forgot to add weapons -_-
This COD allows you to take no perks and put a focus on your weapon and I think thats a good improvement because EVERYONE who hates COD complains about its perks so it does something good in their eyes and its still hate. Also Killstreaks reward good players... Whats wrong with that?

Halo 3 already did it. Not many people enjoy the Idea of being a good player and playing 1000 matches and being paired up with bad players on your team 60% of the time therefore only earning 333 points to level up.
Also Unpredictability has recently been proven as bad with the MOH beta. So many players on a map slightly bigger than COD's that you have no idea whether your safe or not.

So you must get bored even quicker with other games right? The possibilities of Class creator 3.0 are truly endless with Blops2 when compared to other shooters so its hardly a bad thing...
Now my only gripe about COD is the map size hindering the style of play. Such as: you can only run for 5 seconds and quick scoping being a "Strategy."
After playing Battlefield it's really hard to go back to COD. But I think that COD, being a small map game, can learn a lot from Battlefield's Rush match type.
This is a close quarter type of game so their should be close quarter type matches like Rainbow 6. "Rescue the Hostage" and such. I don't think people in the Marines run around with Akimbo Sawed Off Shotguns. The military is all about organized groups and combat in close quarters. Not throw a grenade, run, spray down 5 enemies, call in a helicopter in 10 seconds
I know it's an arcade shooter but it it's getting stale. I can play battlefield 3 for years, after I get to prestige level in COD then what? Get a emblem and bragging rights?
they didn't bring that many new things in the previous titles, still didn't manage to fix the things that were in need of. i read pretty much all of the news and info on BO2 (yes i'm pretty bored) and it seems like they improved on small details (no knife-lunge, camos for secondaries, improved scorestreak system) but also larger aspects of the game (new gamemodes (multiplayer, zombie), new create a class system, shoutcast-option). i'll have to see if it will fullfill my expectations. i'm still very sceptical, but pretty optimistic.
