Spy Hunter Legacy Trailer Revealed

On the eve of the franchise’s 30th anniversary since the original Spy Hunter was released to arcades in 1983, the new Spy Hunter races forward on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, developed by TT Fusion. The player once again takes on the role of the “Agent,” the driver of the high-tech G-6155 Interceptor supercar. (3DS, Culture, PS Vita, Retro, Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run)

Well that was a total waste. Nothing but D-list celebs, and oddly footage of an old Spy Hunter I've never seen nor played which featured SHMUP boss battles.

Would love it if someone just took the original gameplay from the PS2/Xbox1 remake and extended the missions, gave more track options with longer gameplay, and let you call the weapons van.

Amazing how hard that turned out to be.

I have a feeling they're hiding a horrible game. They are so reluctant to show gameplay footage, and the game is coming out soon. I was a fan of the original Spy Hunter... played the hell out of it in arcades and on the NES, but until I see more if this new Spy Hunter in action, I will remain skeptical. What I have seen of the visuals, doesn't look all that good.

Hell, Gameplay I have seen looks worse than the PS2 title.

That is to say I liked the PS2 game, but there's really no excuse that this title should look worse. Not when its suppose to be on the Vita and Xbox 360.
