Rayman Legends delayed into 2013

Nintendo and Ubisoft's official German pages for Rayman Legends have changed their release dates to say Q1 2013. Looks like the game may be about to receive a small delay.

And to add more fuel to the fire, Nintendo of the UK is listing the game for a Q1 2013 release as well. Looks like Europe is getting a delay on the game.

Looks like the game is getting delayed. (Dev, Nintendo, Rayman Legends, Ubisoft, Wii, Wii U)

Update Ubisoft confirmed a worldwide delay of Rayman Legends this morning. The game will release in Europe, America and Japan in Q1 2013.

I think I'll delay my Wii U purchase as well.

I was hoping for this, good move IMO. For me at launch through holidays, it'll be ZombiU, NSMBU, ACIII, BLOPS 2 & NintendoLand. For my 2nd wave of games I'll get Aliens & Rayman, so that move helps solidify the launch window games.

I'm not sure if I understood this correctly. Does this mean the game is getting delayed?

Not 100% but it looks like. When Nintendo AND Ubisoft change the release date on multiple sites in multiple countries that doesn't bode well

Heh. I was actually joking at the expense of the preview text up there, seeing how much they repeat the same thing about a delay over and over.

Thanks for the input, though. :P

FFS. I have this pre-ordered for some platforming action because I didn't particularly like the look of NSMBu (It's too similar to the Wii one, which I already have). I had Injustice pre-ordered too and that damned thing has been delayed as well (I think) - if ZombiU, Tekken or CoD get delayed, blame me :/

With the amount they've been demoing this game I thought for sure it was launching with the Wii U. Oh well, I'm planning on getting it but I probably wouldn't have gotten it day one anyway.

There changing release dates so they have a steady flow of new games coming out throughout the next few months. a good move in my opinion and it will allow for a bit more time to work on titles such as pikmin 3.
Day one for me will be.
-zombiU
-AC3
-Black ops
-scriblenaughts
- Darksiders 2 or Mario

then through out the next few months picking up
-pikmin
-rayman
-batman
-aliens.
and a few others to keep me busy through out the year.

That means I have nothing to buy at the Wii U launch then. I don't think I'm ready for another New Super Mario Bros. game as I rinsed New Super Mario Bros. U, and I don't think Nintendo Land will be enough to tide me over. We'll see though. How annoying.
