Slender: The Eight Pages | Gaming Symmetry

Gaming Symmetry: For this review, I’m not going to bother with restating the “Slender Man” origins and mythos that has spawned countless artworks, videos, creepypastas, and internet obsessions since it began in 2009. The reason for this is that while Slender‘s attachment to the meme is both well thought out and implemented, it has little to do with the game’s quality, or an understanding of the actions required within. (Casual games, Clock Tower, PC, Slender, Slender: The Arrival) -

Stupid meme and a dumb game. That's my review.

I don't know why this game is getting so much attention. Everything about it was amateurish, even amongst it's indie alumni.

In fact, it sort of seems like they wanted to create a Slender game and churned this out as quickly as possible to sort of "stake-their-claim" to the meme.
