50 Years of James Bond: The Five Best 007 Games Ever

Since James Bond first appeared on the Commodore 64 back in 1983, his games have delighted and appalled fans in equal measure. Since its N64 heyday, and briefly successful turn on the PlayStation 2, the Bond videogame franchise has fallen into a rut of half-baked movie tie-ins and pedestrian shooters. EON's game franchise has lost its suave; on a scale of James Bond actors, it's David Niven.

I love 007 films however; the quality of the games has been jumpy over the last years. Ranging from jumpy (007:BS) to brilliant (QoS, I think the 007 games should have a fixed developer to allow maximum progression. 007:L might be a good game, we will have to wait though.

I wonder if a REAL Goldeneye remake or HD version will ever be made. That would sell more than any new Bond video game.

I would put 007 Blood Stone on my list. Very underrated title that I think everyone should give a go, Bond fan or not.

I disagree with Nightfire though. That game, along with Agent Under Fire and Everything or Nothing were pretty boss.

I never played the original Goldeneye, but I bet that game was pretty good too.
