Germany denies Painkiller Hell & Damnation - considers it too evil for its gamers

DSOGaming writes: "Germany is at it again. Nordic Games has revealed that the newest installment of the legendary “Painkiller” series, “Painkiller Hell & Damnation”, will not receive an age rating in Germany." (Painkiller Hell & Damnation, PC, Xbox 360)

Still very conscious and guilty of the atrocities during WWII sadly.

Germany is actually a very nice country, my sister is living there, as well as many relatives. Too bad they still have one-sided idiotic people telling them what they can and can not do, even though there is no significant research showing that Video Games = violence in real life. This world is beyond saving.

Guess German players will have to buy it via gifts on Steam or other ways

There have been studies (unbiased) that show violent games reduce stress. I am a perfect example since I take my rage out on pixels. But regardless I prefer the government to do their job and that is not telling what I can or cannot do with my own free time (long as I am not hurting other people).
