Opinion: No villain was more epic than Kefka Pallazzo

From GamerTell:

"There have been many epic battles in video game history, especially in RPGs. I could sit here and name a bunch of names, but there is really only one you need to know about, Kefka Pallzzo, the 'Psycho Clown' from FF6. Never has there been a more intense and epic battle then with Kefka, and his name sticks in RPG’s mind just for this reason." (Culture, Final Fantasy VI)

I agree with this solely because he's the only villain i know to ever have the excuse: "I'm bat shit insane. And i wanna kill everyone." He's very to the point. Sephiroth has mommy issues. Kuja has issues with being different. Seymour is just.... weird. And the pope guy from XIII was a stereotype leader with too much power.

My problem with Kefka is that his character just lacks depth.
Just not the kind of villain I like, but I won't deny his popularity.

He's basically The Joker in Final Fantasy form.

Just as unoriginal as most FF villains. I'd say Kuja was more different.

Kefka's definitely one of my favorite villains of all time. I did give up trying to compare him to Sephiroth, though; they're both pretty equal to me.
