Masterpiece Gaming with Don & Tony ~ Ep16 “Omerta – City of Gangsters- Pre-release footage”

Certainly a Masterpiece Gaming first, Don & Tony sit down and talk about the upcoming strategy game, Omerta – City of Gangsters, while showing you gameplay footage from a preview build. Part resource management, part tactical-combat and all gangster, Omerta – City of Gangsters puts you in the role of a mob boss in Prohabition-era Atlantic City. With a variety of ways to play the game, this video shows some of the basics of a sandbox game, ending with a bank heist.

Please remember, this video is from a preview build and does not represent the final product. Omerta – City of Gangsters is set to release in Q1 2013. (Omerta - City of Gangsters, PC, Xbox 360)

So essentially a modernized version of Gangsters: Organized Crime? Sign me up! Been waiting for that for a long time! Graphically (and I know it's just a preview build), however, I hope the final version looks much more improved than the muddied textures we were shown from the video. Otherwise, can't wait to start my crime gang!

It looks great, honestly. The muddled textures are more due to the quality of the recording than anything else. It's certainly on par with Tropico 4 in terms of graphics.

I love the 3/4 view of this game. It's like other mafia games, but with a bit more strategy. This could be a hidden gem for sure.

Depends on how much replayability it has.
