Assassins' Creed III Plays to the Series' Strengths | gamrReview

gamrReview: "The demo consoles in question housed a mode of the game where you play as the captain of a pirate ship in its attempt to see off and capture a military vessel. This was an unexpected and wholly revelationary delight. As captain you control the ship and direct it, bearing in mind the direction of the wind, shallows of the beautiful Caribbean islands you sweep around and the length of the sails you unfurl." (Assassin's Creed III, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I hope so. I semi liked 1 (saw potential), loved 2 and Brotherhood, but I just think so many aspects of AC:Revelations were so weak. I can't believe they included a hookblade (seriously?), the tower defence was boring and to be honest the emphasis on crafting different bombs didn't appeal to me. What a mess! I wish I could have played it all, but it bored me to tears.
