City of Heroes is dying and a petition can’t save it

When publisher NCSoft announced that the superhero MMO City of Heroes would be closing down, fans turned out in droves, generating 20,000 signatures to protest the closing of the game. Today NCSoft announced that the petition, while appreciated, isn't enough to save the dying game. (City of Heroes, NCSoft, PC)
