PSP Horror Titles Feature- Dead Head Fred

Modern Zorker writes, "Continuing the horror titles on PSP from the third issue of Gaming on Batteries Magazine, we have Dead Head Fred – It’s often said that game designers must have a screw loose somewhere, but nowhere in the portable gaming scene is this more accurate than this utterly unique tale of a hard-boiled detective who gets killed in the line of duty and brought back to life without a head so that he can solve the case of his own murder, mostly by, uh, “borrowing” brains from other people. I hate when that happens. DHF isn’t really a horror story, but it’s certainly got plenty to recommend it for the list anyway. " (Dead Head Fred, PSP)

I've never played it; can I get it from the store on my Vita?

no
and might never will be! I was lucky I recently got the last UMD copy in the bargain bin here in my country along with Daxter (another gem on PSP) and Soul Calibur...all 3 for the total price of $15!

this might not get on the PS Store for several reasons.

1. it's old...from the early days of PSP
2. the game uses camera control in a very awkward way to compensate for the non-existing right analog on PSP

but this is truly a great great game!
