A C+ for the Vita version? Oh, man. Vita can't win.

CharmingMan4220d ago

The VITA isn't going to live or die by one game. Apparently, EA didn't much effort into this version.

Insomnia_844220d ago

After reading the review, I don't understand how they gave it a C+. Looks more like a B+ considering they gave the console version a A-. Gamplay seems to be the same on both versions so from the review I would give it a B+.

this was always the case for FIFA on the PSP! the next iterations were almost always had like no improvement than the last! felt more like a roster update unlike its consoles counterpart which always have something new to offer!

this is just EA not putting too much effort. business as usual

madmad4220d ago

I heard they just updates the kits, rosters, and put it in a new boxed. EA phoned it in.

Yep, same game that released 6 months ago, one that got a lot of praise, but you cannot just repackage the same game after advertising a load of new features

I couldn't imagine playing FIFA on any screen smaller than my 40" TV.

Fuct4220d ago

It's great on a handheld like the vita.

CalvinKlein4220d ago

I couldnt imagine playing anything on a TV as tiny a 40 inches.

mediastudies4220d ago

Not all outdated football games are worthless

Games Asylum: "Outdated football games are a common sight when scouring jumble sales, car boots and charity shops for bargain price video games. Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Often they end up in bargain bins, sitting alongside unwanted celebrity fitness DVDs and seemingly random TV show box sets. But here’s the thing. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."

Now Sonic Boom & Bayonetta 2 are being outsold by FIFA 13 Wii U

Just who is buying FIFA 13 on Wii U? We may never know, but there are more people buying that than there are Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.

Sonic Boom? welp, sucks to suck.
But, Bayonetta is a real shame

wonderfulmonkeyman3430d ago

Sonic Boom is riding off the popularity of the TV show; it's a bad game.

And as for FIFA?
Well, guess that goes to show that there's a lot of older gamers on Wii U that wanted FIFA, then; sports games generally do out-sell action games, and Platinum isn't known for large sales in the first place.

I'm not worried for Bayonetta. It'll hit that 1M mark by the middle of next year, surely, at its current pace.

are seriously trying to downplay Bayonetta 2 with sales
