XP Reviews: Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 is the culmination of Capcom’s ignorance towards a very vocal fan base. As long as the big bucks keep flowing in, who cares what the fans have to say?

At first glance, Resident Evil 6 boasts high production values but you quickly find out that it’s all flash and no fire. (PS3, Resident Evil 6, Xbox 360) 2.5/5

A bit harsh but i can see why the complaints are justified! The camera does suck, at least in the demo it did. Still more fun than re5 was.

and it being better than re5 is all i need, I loved re5.

but playing any of them alone could def be painful.

i just love it because me and fiance play it

for a co-op game its pretty good but as a resident evil game, it sucks!

The reviews for this game is like a roller coaster.

I will have to take a chance on this one regardless of the negative reviews as there are just as many that gives it really good scores.

To many reviewers let to much personal taste go in to reviews and lack the reviewing skills to be neutral.

its true, most people are just upset about it not being scary, but re5 was still a great co-op game even though it was even less scary.

the point in the end is fun imo.

I have my copy and cant wait to play it tommorow with my fiance.

besides some of the complaints are dumb....Bad Camera? Yet most of the haters loved the old RE1 camera and act like it added to the experience lol. AS if running into one screen, the controls would totally flip and make you run back where you just came from, then flip again and make you go "AHHHHHHHH"!!!

and honestly, RE5 and 6's camera isnt any worse than deadspaces or Gears of wars, so im not sure what people are complaining about

The camera is shit though. Its not 5's which was perfect imo. It moves and makes you look at odd angles sometimes instead of being fixed. Sometimes they try a fixed angle and it doesnt work because idk if up is up or down is up. Shouldve been standard with a button to look at something happening like gears. Not as horrendous and unplayable as some say though.

Definitely a game to make your own opinion on, I'm currently playing through Leons campaign and I'm loving it, I have a few little niggles but they aren't anything major.
