Pokémon Black Version 2 & White Version 2 Review | Trendy Gamers

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 mark the first time a main line Pokémon title has ever seen a direct sequel. Taking place just 2 years after the original, you start your travels in Aspertia City, as opposed to Nuvema Town. Just like Black/White you, a brand new trainer in the Unova region, go off in hopes of filling your Pokédex with all kinds of Pokémon and becoming the best there ever was. (3DS, Nintendo DS, Pokemon Black 2, Pokemon Black and White 2, Pokemon White 2) 9/10

Feel free to ask any questions about the games if I didn't answer them in the review.

It's crazy how much stuff they're throwing in here for a mid-gen title. Even half of it would have been an improvement from the old format in terms of mixing things up.

I'm kind of disappointed that they seem to be locking breeding until after you complete the plot. Don't really see the point in doing that.

Really looking forward to the tournaments.

Yeah, breeding isn't accessible until after the plot.
