New 14 minute long video of New Super Mario Bros.U
This looks to be a fantastic co-op play experience on the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system. I can imagine long fun and argumentative sessions enjoying this with a partner on the sofa. Great fun that usually comes as standard with a side scrolling Super Mario experience. This looks to be the greatest Super Mario Bros side scrolling exclusive offering since Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System from our glorious past. Rated E For Everyone
Haha, we may have different perspective, but I like your style man, straight up PR talk, lol.
That is appreciated man, and thank you for handling that previous debate with class. It gets a little hectic around here at times. I am looking forward to more battles and debates in the future.
Oh for sure man, that's how a debate should be, it's either you're adding something to the conversation, or else you're trolling right? The latter is not my style, I'm too practical to act a fool, I try to keep it logical, and keep my cool. So yeah, definitely looking forwards to your inputs in the future man.
Well said...can not wait to play this with the wife and kids - we do not get many games where the entire family can play and enjoy, my wife is not an avid gamer but if there is one game she loves is anything side scrolling Mario.
I'm not that excited for this game. It's using the same engine as the Wii verison in HD. Not saying it won't be fun but I will be excited for a next gen Mario Galaxy. I want my mind blown.
Its a Mario game. There is no logic to it
Hey look a dude with a girl avatar who wants attention because his parents did not give him enough.
I want this game.
I am joking... Mario is a series of unknown and what next type game, love the series
Nintendoland is the best exclusive I've seen thus far, this has some interesting party-type play mechanics also, but I don't think it fits the party-play atmosphere as well.
who ever is on the gamepad is just being an a**hole in the second level lol
Dam I really starting to get worried as I promised the family that a Wii U will be under our xmas tree this xmas but I can not seem to get one pre-order as everyone is ordered out. I refuse to over pay on EBay from those AHoles who buy like 10 launch consoles only to sell them at 3 times the regular price.
Between this, Rayman Legends, and Trine 2, the Wii U is going to get a lot of playtime from me as a big 2D platforming fan.
looks exactly like the Wii version.
Am disappointed in the lack of hardware pushing graphics. The gameplay definitely looks tight though. But yes, a few things that irk me besides the lackluster graphics is the lack of an online mode.
So because I'm not impressedwith the game graphically and wished the game had an online mode to boost value and replayability, I'm now lumped and labled as a loser? Really? I will be critical of Nintendo and call a spade a spade with no sacred cow. Nintendo makes mistakes too. And I think that some of the lukewarm reception coming towards this game is the asthetics of the game, why should the game look like a Wii game when Wii U could make the game look so much better. Instead it gets criticised for looking as if it is a shoe in. Regardless of the graphics issue, and the lack of an online mode, I'm still iterested in the game because I love 2D Mario. But those factors still leave a feeling of missed opportunity.
nintendo have dropped the ball on this one. i may buy it just for the collection but, it is a missed opportunity. they could have showcased their new consoles graphics capability. the 'new mario bros' games are so lame in style. uninspired.
If you're implying they aren't using new art assets then you're wrong. It's not upscaled. These assets are actually higher in resolution ( and differ in some extend from the original). It's not an issue with the engine. It's the fact they went with this art-style. I wish they would have done things more in a handdrawn type of style.
yes, something more natural looking. like the kirby epic yarn game... or even wario shake. the style of the 'new super mario' games doesn't absorb you, they look.. computer generated. as opposed to cartoony/anime/stylish. which i think would be a better look for mario.
Wow, its actually NEW gameplay. A lot of the previous video has been the same 3 or 4 demo stages from E3. New soundtrack too, at least it sounds new.
Looks so beautiful, really can't wait to get my hands on it.
Whoever that was playing as mario at the first and second level wasn't doing to good. Looks like fun though. Definitely picking this up when I get a wii u.
the guy making the blocks is a ass, after seeing this footage, i am sure i will play this game single player only.
