LAME. However, I'd prefer that they strip it back to its frame and build upon it from there rather than getting some half-baked console port like we got with RE4. Still, it's disappointing. Luckily, we PC gamers have much to look forward to in the meantime!

I hope it hits this year because I'm waiting for the definitive version to play.

Don't force me to play the console version, Capcom, please.

Eh capcom is usually pretty good about PC support. Resident evil 5 had dx10 support and was well optimized for PC. Lost planet 2 had DX11 support, however they went too far with tesselation. And they tend to include every major setting you need aside from FOV.

LP2 ran like crap in DX11 mode but it was a freaking dream in DX9 mode.

RE5 ran like a dream regardless. Capcom did a perfect job porting the game.

Actually, if you switch to DX11 in LP2 the performance will increase 20% if you turn off dx11 features. But you will keep a few improved effects, like soft shadows. Like i said, they went overboard on tesselation. Even more than crysis 2.

Yep that statement makes it sound like 2013.
