The art assets for the original Killzone, needed to remake the game in HD for PS3, were found in a shoebox in the cellar of one of the studio's IT Support staff, Guerrilla senior programmer Frank Compagner has revealed.
lol that is so random
it's not "random", but it is funny.
This is all I can think of when people say that...
When someone says random I think of this.... https://www.youtube.com/wat... I'm forever cursed...
@LightofDarkness Dafuq did i just watch haha
Then who ever drew it up to begin with got it from the Anime "Jin Roh"
At least they found it somehow lol
Glald they found them. I'm very curious how much smoother this version of KZ1 will play, compared to the original.
Stored the data on tape?!? wow that is old school :D Thank god that guys wife never threw that shoebox away.
I'm glad they managed to avoid loosing the necessary assets.
Wow what are the odds? Someone could've thrown it out but they found it and gave it a makeover for the PS3. I give them an A for effort. Great read this was.
This proves my point that the first didn't have the right codes to which it is one of the reasons it didn't play well.
"Right codes"? Pardon? I don't understand your point.
Along time ago GG mention that the reason Killzone did not function right was because it wasn't coded(wrong source code) right the codes they used were for a PC version that was supposed to come out at the time with the PS2 version but it never took off.
We have some backup tapes at work. It's not that uncommon.
The fuck? A god damn shoe box? You think they would be better taken care of.
so glad gg went through the trouble to re-make this! I loved kz1! Hakha is boss!
I loved the secondary fire for the weapons too!
