Kojima Productions developing new Metal Gear Online title
GCO: "At his Eurogamer Expo development session, director Hidio Kojima hinted at the possibility of a new Metal Gear Online title being developed at the Kojima Productions Los Angeles studio."
(Metal Gear Online, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)
Yes this is good news. MGO was the 1st game I played online when I got my 1st PS3. One of the best online games ever. I hope there'll be less cheaters this time.
Sitting there in a box, a guy is walking past my box and the two other boxes I'm between. He stops and turns back towards me and comes over to the boxes, looking closely. Not close enough, he leaves and continues along his path. I pop out and proceed to chase him around for a minute(anybody who has played mgo knows that a minute can feel like a lifetime). Finally, he stops allowing me to close the gap. I hit my favorite move, which is grabbing them from behind and dropping to a knee. He is unconscious....
I know he is sitting there twiddlin' them little joysticks trying to wake up.
I walk away. After three or four steps i turn back towards him. I stand there staring at him. Pull out my handgun. Headshot.
You just can't get that experience elsewhere. Admittedly I did not play MGO very often. But some water-cooler worthy *event happened. Either done BY me, or done TO me.

We need a pure Metal Gear Online successor.

Something is telling me this WON'T end up like RE:ORC so I have some faith in whatever Kojima has planned here.
