I am sick of this LOOPER add taking over my screen!!

On a side note, I am looking forward to finally playing part 1.

Now i can say it pays to wait. Getting all the content for just one price is so much more ideal

Waiting 5 years isn't ideal for everyone, I'd much rather get the chance to play the games when they release and enjoy it that way. Especially Mass Effect 1, which came out in 2007 and is one of this generations best games.

Most gamer's should have played this on Xbox 360 or PC by now, but it is good to give those few stragglers a chance to play it now as well, though a bit odd to release part 1 so far after the other two.

I really love the Mass Effect universe... the games are GREAT. I have Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 on PC (also have them on Xbox 360 excluding the third installment). I'll definitely be getting this Trilogy package for the Playstation 3.

HELL FUCKING YES!

I was about to buy all three of them because i herd they were terrific games! Now i can just buy this trilogy! I hope the games are as good as everyone makes them out to be. I really want to get into the story of Mass effect. I just hope that i can really enjoy these games... and the inclusion of ME1 id a very nice touch! Id never thought the pd3 would get it. Now, it is complete!

I bet EA paid a lot to get ME1 on PS3. Then again its looking like a smart move. All the ME3 hate has literally fizzled out :)

May as well say it again:

Thinking about this, what's going to happen to the WiiU version of ME3 now? Is that honestly going to be as attractive with its update comic and tablet screen functionality at the same price as all three title in the trilogy at the same price?

Goddarnit, I knew it!

Mass Effect 1 on PS3. After all the insistence that it would "NEVER EVER" come to PS3, because Microsoft published it, well there you go.

Makes you wonder if other MS published games won't make the jump. It's kinda late in the gen for this sort of porting treatment, but it's nice of BioWare to be considerate like this. Although, I don't think it would stand well with PS3 owners if every other platform got the Trilogy except them. That's probably why they did it.

Best news ever. Now I hope Remedy takes notice and finally ports Alan Wake to the PS3.
ChunkyLover53  +   566d ago
Remedy already said they wont be putting Alan Wake on Sony platforms, same with Epic and Gears Of War. There is a difference between Mass Effect and those games. Microsoft owns the actual publishing rights to Alan Wake, they could only publish on non competing platforms, like PC.

The original publishing deal for Mass Effect was with Bioware themselves, then they went and got bought out by EA. Had EA not been bought out, the series would probably be exclusive, but EA is a multi-plat company and likes their money.
