The FOX Broadcast app on Xbox 360 has launched today for Xbox Live Gold subscribers who are also Dish or Verizon FiOS customers. The app provides next-day access to FOX shows and the FOX Broadcast programming network. The app will also include Kinect integration, allowing you to play, pause and rewind using your hands or voice.
Again forcing us to pay a subscription to use a service that should be free to us.
I'm too smart to get ripped off.
And what the heck's the point of "next day access" to news?
I like when they add stuff to the members only side. It helps justify being a member.
Oh and for some perspective. cloud saves, auto trophy sync, auto downloads. Yup those are a few features for the paid ps+.
I guess the point would be, if you are a paying member of something, you would want as much for your member$hip as you can. Otherwise, if everyone gets the same as you then why be a member at all?
It is the Fox channel, not Fox news.
Yeah, I had a real Emily Litella moment. What's worse is that I've been watch some of theirs, MSNBC and TYT clips on Youtube, so I'm not only being ditzy but a hypocrite.
But at least I'm not paying for Youtube past provider!
And if you don't know who Emily Litella is - google. Or Bing or whatever.
I'm at least glad it isn't free, the more limited access Fox has the better.
@Godmars290
They're called vintage news! News are like wine
Dont even act like you own a 360 you lying sack of shit.
This FOX app is Free for me since my yearly subscription is for the online gaming community. That is why I pay. I am not paying for apps and anyone who thinks that they are "forced" to pay for APPS and completely ignoring what the bigger picture of what the cost of XBL goes to are just ignorant at best.
Anyone who would PAY for XBL just to access APPs are just foolish.
I most likely will never use this app, just like many other apps that are available to me as a gold member, but to think that I am paying my yearly membership for these apps is crazy talk and is a blind argument from those who are nit picking the smallest of features simply to paint a negative perspective on a paid service that has a primary feature function they are choosing to ignore.
