Most likely. How the Wii U does this time next year will be interesting. The system is priced very reasonably since you get essentially a $150 tablet/controller with it. I'm still going to wait until i see how the online works and to give time to build a bigger library of games.
Exclusives! Does this mean Nintendo will use their clout + cheque book to fight the competition? if true, I could find myself siding with Nintendo this upcoming console cycle. More remains to be seen.
Nintendo probably won't pay for exclusives but rather build partnerships like they did with publishing Bayonetta 2.
Yeah, they confirmed there is more partnerships to be announced, but I don't think they will pay for exclusives, they will probably just do something like Bayonetta 2.
Ive been questioning the signs pointing to low manufacture numbers. I of course am oblivious to the reality of it, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if people have a hard time finding the Wii U on shelves or online ordering before Christmas. Possibly even through first quarter. Edit: Don't get me wrong.. I want the Wii U to succeed. Long term. It will only strengthen the industry as a whole. I hope I am wrong and it moves a lot of numbers throughout. It certainly looks like it will fit right into Nintendo niche like the Wii did.
I dont really think Nintendo will dissapoint with this console but i wanna wait to see what kind of Online gaming Capabilities the system has first before i jump in Things like cross game chat & how you go about adding friends and creating your gamer tag we already know what it can do media wise online but id like to hear more about the online gaming side.
For a console that is set to release two months from now we really don't know anything about its online features. Nintendo has been very vague about it for some reason, i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
