Assassin's Creed II is amazing and my far the best of the series. Brotherhood was good too and Revelations had a great story. I think you should definitely pick up the Ezio Trilogy pack when you get a chance. I think AC1 was very repetitive but it was the first and started it all.

Assassins Creed 2 is what the first one should have been, and should absolutely be played by anyone interested in the series.

I didn`t get the first, because of mixed feedback. But played through AC2 and Brotherhood, so we almoast have played the whole series combined ;)

I found AC2 to be a cool game with a lof of extra stuff to do. A bit to easy for my taste, but still a good, fun game.

Brotherhood was a bit a letdown for me. It was to similar to AC2 both in setting and gameplay, even though the multiplayer was better than expected. Didn`t get Revolations because it too seemed to similar to AC2 and Brotherhood.

With that said. AC3 seems to be the game i`ve been waiting for since AC2. And i`ll definetely be picking it up. A true sequel with an interesting time periode and lot of improvements, seems like a must buy for me :)
