EDGE- For some time, I’ve wanted to write down my thoughts and reactions to Minecraft, but for the most part I felt it wasn’t necessary. I felt people already understood why Minecraft was such a wonderful and important game, and that the reasons why I think it is great were fairly common. Recently, however, while having dinner with some friends, I was surprised when one of them expressed appreciation for Minecraft, but then followed it by saying that he didn’t really understand what it was that made it so enthralling.
I also love Minecraft. I think that it is a gaming masterpiece. It is a landmark videogame that has transformed the way we think about games, and I suspect that over time it will prove itself to be at least as important to the history of game development as GTAIII.
I'll go with, "Oh good grief......"
Minecraft has broken through very well, and I love it.
Another comment from you that lacks substance, doesn't have any points or reasons. And yet you TRIED to call me out in another article saying the same thing.
It was a good attempt but it is so easy to reverse anything you try and throw at me because well, you're not all there in the head.
He's just upset the game is not playable on his favorite systems yet. The game is hugely popular and very addicting. Of course the more popular something is the more scrutiny it gets.
It gives hope to the average gaming company that doesn't have the massive funding or publisher status to get out there like other companies can.
I like minecraft but I can never find a server I like and playing offline by my self is boring. I've stop playing for a while now, I feel like unless I want to run up my internet bill hosting a server i'll never get the experiance I want. I use to like the server minecraft heros or something which I loved before they screwed it up and restarted the server from scratch.
fun burning your friends shit down or playing pranks most likely :D, co-op makes a game and gives it memories :P
Maybe in the long run LBP might have a greater influence. I certainly hope more console games in the future allow users to create their own content.
