PES 2013 review |ENE3|

ENE3: "The football season started and football matches attack the market. Since 2006, the time that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 was launched, no PES game grabbed me as much as PES 2013. Konami has finally heard our requests and brought Pro Evolution Soccer to its origin. [...]By making constant changes to the engine one year after the other, Konami finally reached a more realistic, better controlled, fun and enjoyable experience with PES 2013." (3DS, PC, PES 2013, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360) 4.5/5

ive only been buying fifa the last 4 years but pes2013 is the best football game i have ever played, its a little bit hard in the beginning, but now after a week playing it plays like a dream, truly amazing game:-)

I'm the same as you, converted to FIFA for last few years but this year decided to give Pro Evo another chance.

The gameplay is very good but I don't find it as hard as FIFA, I've been playing on Professional difficulty in Pro Evo and I generally play World Class on FIFA.

As much as I love the gameplay of this years Pro Evo it is very dissapointing how lacking the game is in other areas. The commentary is still terrible (I don't see any improvement over last gens commentary, which is inexcusable IMO), the graphics are not great, as far as I can tell I can't play real leagues and what the hell have Konami done to the Master League? The team selection menu is awful (in fact all the menus in Master League are awful) and the cut scenes are just embarrassing, please make them stop.

yeah the menu and cutscenes are bad but the gameplay is smooth, try playing on superstar its freaking hard:-) if you go to pesfan.com there is a user named Neilez2 he has made chants packs for almost every team, they are really great and really ads to the atmosphere of the game, it take a while to edit them to the team but its worth it if you like to play the game offline:-)and theres and option file coming 28 sept on the WENB website which ads the bundesliga and corrects the team, leagues, and players.

I'll work my way up to superstar, I used to play Pro Evo 4, 5 and 6 on 5 star difficulty. I was just making the point that while I've been playing the similar difficulty ratings on FIFA and Pro Evo 2013 I'd say FIFA is the harder game, although, in an infuriating kind of way. I've noticed alot of people suggesting that Pro Evo is the harder game, I just don't agree.

I'll look out for these option files, what do you do to get them? Can you download them straight from the website onto your PS3?

you download them on pc from the website(WENB website is know for making great option files),and then transfer the files to ps3 with a usb-stick:-) you should join the website pesfan.com, they got answers to most of the pes questions, i use it a lot:-) Peace:-)
