Several new screenshots have been revealed for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, comparing the remastered Playstation 3 version of Kingdom Hearts to the original Playstation 2 copy.

Chain of Memories and 358/2 have a lot of important stuff that lead into KH2. Otherwise you'll be Really lost at beginning of 2. You can easily find a videos of all the cutscenes of both games so you dont have to play through them all the way.
Wouldn't actually say Chains is necessary before going into 2 since you know just as much as Sora. While I do like a lot from 358/2, aside from a few things it's mostly world/character building Days came out after 2 anyway and would take a lot of mystery away. Maybe I'm just trying to simulate how I experienced the story but in that case I actually started playing 2 first lol. Cutscenes should be sufficient for sure.

Maybe i love the old resol more... I think this is a fast cash money grab. I know i am going to get downvoted but just give me Kingdom hearts 3. I have enough of the sequels and remakes.

Looking at the screens shows you how good the ps2 version looked in the first place, things just seem a little sharper.
The characters look too shiny for my taste in the HD version also their lacking detail on the faces and clothing.
SE wont show any respect for the last great Squaresoft made game if they put out this washed out artstyle.
