The Evolution of Kratos

Game Informer - Born a Spartan, and raised to become one of Greece’s most formidable generals, Kratos’ iron will eventually collide with the pride of the Greek gods. But what makes this gaming legend tick? We examine the character evolution of one of Sony’s most memorable characters. (God of War, PS2, PS3, PSP)

I keep expecting to see a god of war game where kratos has traveled to modern day/future and lays waste to robots, genetically engineered things, and giant at computers.

Kratos is the badass dude in videogames.

The dude physically stops mountain/continent busting, planet holding, multi billion ton Titans with his bare hands.

Zeus himself is without a doubt a continent/planet buster and Kratos made bashing his brains in feel like cake. lol

His determination to save his wife, daughter, and brother is crazy.

Super bad ass indeed. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT to see his human side though :)

Beating Zeus on the toughest difficulty was lengthy, I remember sitting for over an hour just getting past that fight

Kratos is my favourite character. He's tragic, determined, courageous, direct and badass. We need more characters like Kratos and less goody two-shoes do-no-wrong protagonists.

I'm sick of mostly playing the overwhelmingly good guy who'd rather take the long way round to avoid confrontation instead of the move out of my way or I'll beat the living out of you approach Kratos takes.

Also Kratos has the most back-story out of any game character I've experienced, we know everything about him, where he grew up, his family members, his job, the reason for his scars and tattoos, his ashy skin, his motives, his failures and his goals.

I love Kratos and hope he'll be the protagonist of the God of War series forever, we all know the series isn't going anywhere for a long, long time, thank goodness for that! :)

I know right!! Just facepalm when someone says "God Of War has a bad story". It's one of the best stories ever told in videogames.

yea , but i grew up playing video games like dark cloud , playing as a good guy is a good thing , it teach us things...

we may get bored of it as you say but it needed for others , make a good advice about the game instead of violence , but yes , we need something to make us excited like god of war , it's fun but it's just a game , i would hate it if i saw someone act like kratos...

anyway , can't wait for the new god of war ^^
hope you understand my point , i only say what i felt from a lots of games...

edit : when i think about god of war story , it gives me some good advices too :) , to avoid bad decisions and not sell my soul , or not to be selfish , death is better then living like kratos , family is one of most important things in life ...
