Kotaku - Earth Defense Force 4 Is Big Fun with Big Enemies and Big Guns

Kotaku - I've always liked Earth Defense Force—or rather, the idea of Earth Defense Force. I love running around Japanese cities, shooting giant insects. But, who doesn't?

The idea of Earth Defense Force has always been better than the actual games, which have suffered from bad physics, wank controls, and small maps. (Earth Defense Force 4, PS3, Xbox 360)

Hopefully you can take your characters from single player online and a little more story would be nice. Like an ending to the campaign.

Saving the world, battered but not destroyed with the world chanting "EDF! EDF! EDF!" from rooftops isn't enough?

But yeah, you're probably confusing Insect Armageddon here, which the ending was kind of anticlimatic.

This needs a Godzilla mode.
