VGW: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 review

VGW: 2012 has been a rather busy year in the realm of fighting games. Soulcalibur V, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Persona 4 Arena are just three of the releases already released here in the west, with more to come as September ends. Namco Bandai decided to step up to the plate twice this year, offering 3D fighting fans their playing hand at Soulcalibur V in the spring, and now Tekken Tag Tournament 2. While Tekken has maintained a steady pace in the last couple of generations, many have awaited the sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament, which was released over a decade ago to massive acclaim and success. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 aims to build on the successes of the original while bringing it to the current generation. Can the 3D fighter live up to those expectations? (PS3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Xbox 360) 4/5
